Private drama lessons are provided by Kate Stoner at B Starz Academy to prepare children for LAMDA examinations, Springboard Festival and scholarships.

Kate has a wealth of knowledge and experience, in teaching speech and drama while preparing children for LAMDA examinations.

Kate explains: ‘Drama is a skill set that is both advantageous and strengthening to all individuals and characters.’

The aim of drama lessons will be to help each child develop their potential for self-expression, confidence and communication.
During lessons the children can work on a variety of drama skills and techniques tackling a wide range of drama pieces, including poetry, prose, sight reading, mime and script work.
The children can enter local drama festivals and LAMDA speech and drama exams.

LAMDA is the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding bodies. The higher grades of these exams can be used to gain UCAS points for entry into university later in life.
